5th wheel lube plate question

I just had installed a new B & W Patriot hitch. When looking at my current lube plate it is a bit worn and does not stay on king pin that well.

When looking to purchase one I see two differant sizes 8 inch and 10 inch.

Does size really matter? There is not much differance in price. I just want what is best.

Your thoughts?

    So I learned something new this morning. Didn't know B&W had 2 different jaw thickness' as well as different plat thickness'.

    They do, I have purchased a couple from them. Now B&W sells one so future purchase will go to them.
