It isn't a cheap installation...The "part of a Reese hitch" isn't going to help you much if you don't have a base for it and as mentioned, you need a rail system attached your truck to use the hitch and it won't be cheap...the rails, once installed in the bed of the truck aren't the easiest things to remove either, (been there, done that)....Sounds like cheapest, easiest way to get it where you want it would be pay someone else to do the job...and the 6.0 gas engine whether it's one trip or not...will NOT be happy..but apparently it doesn't matter. Unless you're going to tow it more than just one time...pay someone else to do it.
