Just guess-timating from when i had a 2009 GMC 2500HD D/A (GVWR of 9200#) i would say you should be ok. My actual truck wt. loaded up for camping came to a little less that 7200# leaving me 2000# for pin wt.
The weights are from the Chevrolet website for that style truck on the specs secion.
