Is your truck a crew/ext or reg cab? 4x4? Should weigh about 8-8500 w/o any trailer. Has a GVW of 10,000 so in legal terms, your only good for 1500-2,000 lbs pin/hitch weight. When you look at a RV brochure and see pin/hitch weight, this is approx and empty/dry weight----hence the reply about capacity of your truck. Can you go over 1500-2000 lbs? Many do, but your going to be in hot seat both here on forum as well w/ Johnny law/atty if in an accident w/ another vehicle. Good advice from many regarding what to look for. Don't discount Cedar Creek and Cardinal. Lurk here and see what others post about "X" brand/issues/resolve. QC is lacking w/some, factory support too. Inquire/look around about dealers as well. Smaller/family dealers may be more expensive, but not rush to make a sale.
