Thank you all for your help. It is greatly appreciated. I checked the GVWR on our truck and it is 10,000 lbs. I think I understand a little better what you are trying to tell me about carry vs. tow capacity. I will definitely check out the link provided as well. My DH will be very impressed if I do get this figured out! He would have no problem understanding, but he doesn't have time right now to research. We are kind of stuck with purchasing what this truck can tow/carry, but when we bought the truck we weren't thinking about an RV yet.
