5th Wheel Recliners

I have a 2018 Heartland Sundance 5th Wheel. The double slide has a (4) seat recliner couch on it. However they are not secured to the floor and the dealer is a moron. What is the best and most Secure way to secure it to the slide? Every time the dear “fixes” it as soon as you use them the screws pull out. I am very frustrated.

  • Same with us. Only thing secured permanently is the dining table. Our sofa moved a little once, when we went over a rolling highway! Nothing since then and that was back in 2015.
  • If you don't ever need to use them, metal conduit clamps will hold them nicely. If you do need to move them occasionally, these are the ones I use to keep our recliners in place. They come in different sizes (I needed the small size).

Never have secured recliners, couch or kitchen chairs, only the kitchen chairs have slightly moved on really rough roads.
  • My couch has never moved on my... I have heard of some taking a small piece of angle iron, cutting it and securing it to the floor. That would keep the sofa from sliding forward
  • Is it moving? We've never tied down our couches or chairs and they've always been where we left them.
