5th wheel TH wreck yesterday Phoenix

My original post was deleted because on the size of the photo's I linked to. Here is the link to the news article. Driver of the TV died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt. TV had a tire blow causing the accident. Chris

My heart goes out to the family. Loss of control from a blowout is not an uncommon incident. Sometimes they hit the brakes right away or over correct and that does it. If you go to youtube and search RV tire blowout, there are a number of video incidents of this type. We can only hope we do the right thing when it takes us by surprise.

5th wheel toy hauler and a non-DRW TV. Non-DRW a factor? The trailer came loose from the TV. Crushed the TV bed forward of the hitch. All from a blow out.

Have to wonder about the seat belt. Did he disable the alarm?
