I will admit that I have ZERO experience with a gooseneck adapter and never will have. I can see how much the pinbox flexes on all 3 5th wheels I have had by looking in the rearview mirror. I have no desire to increase that movement by adding a lever to help move it. Lippert will void the frame warranty unless you use their Goosebox. If you look how the Goosebox hooks up it is different from the adapter. The 5th wheel hitch is removed and the Goosebox put in place of it. Different animal and different forces.
