Of course we know different as evident some 5th wheel trailers come with a GN adapter as a option from the trailer maker.
A blanket statement or a certain worded statement that all 5th wheel trailers aren't designed for using a GN adapter is simply a inaccurate opinion.
Just because FR doesn't recommend them doesn't mean all manufacturers do so.
As other more experienced folks have said check the the trailer maker first.
