Just because FR doesn't recommend them doesn't mean all manufacturers do so.
As other more experienced folks have said check the the trailer maker first.
One would =ass=ume that the mfrs that do offer that type of hitch, some models of Open Range come to mind, have done their homework and engineer their products accordingly. Just sayin'... :h
