The main quality problem with US built caravans is they build junk and we buy it, period. The majority of US RV owners are not willing or able to purchase a high end, well built unit so corners are cut everywhere to bring down the price point for the masses.
Agreed we have moved as far as interiors go and our Caravans(not just 5th Wheelers) have to be built more ruggedly than what you get in the US
AVIDA who make Motorhomes has just ventured into making Caravans. They are not by our standards expensive units.
