Pilot app not accepting GS membership number

I installed the Pilot/Flying J app. It asked for my Good Sam membership number to link the rewards. I entered the membership number from my home-printed card with the response that it was not a valid Good Sam membership number. I backed out and tried again. Same result. I triple checked that I was entering the number correctly. The app has access to the camera to scan a bar code on the card but there is no bar code. Any ideas?

  • Community Alumniwas able to help me resolve this.  You have to put 73000 before your GoodSam member ID.  That will allow the pilot website to accept it.

  • Ok. Well that worked for me a month ago or so after trying everything. They weee supposed to be looking for a solution. Perhaps one of the moderators has an answer for you.

Thanks...  I appreciate you trying to help with that info.   Hopefully someone will answer.

  • I also did not link accounts when i first got the app.  I can not find anywhere in the app to do the linking.  When I go to the website and enter Add my card and type "73000+GS#" it just throws an error.  Any clue how to get these to link after the fact?

I tried the same thing:  typed the 73000 and GS number and it kept saying can't add.  so I skipped.   Now I can't find where to link it.  No reply from customer service.

Go to the Home Screen on the pilot app. Click the hamburger menu in the upper left corner  go to wallet and my rewards cards and enter it there.

  • I also cannot find where to add my good Sam’s number in the app

  • I have the same problem - I skipped inputting it when creating account.  When I go back to Flying J app, I can't find where to link my GoodSam account.

  • I am having the same problem. My Good Sam membership card does not have enough mumbers

    Hi dfoster

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble. I was able to access your membership in our system and confirmed that it's still active. Can you DM me the Good Sam Membership number you are using so I can ensure it is the right one and help you link your accounts?

    Thanks

I just downloaded the PFJ app via the Good Sam website link and have the same issue. The app wouldn’t accept my membership #
