Pilot app not accepting GS membership number

I installed the Pilot/Flying J app. It asked for my Good Sam membership number to link the rewards. I entered the membership number from my home-printed card with the response that it was not a valid Good Sam membership number. I backed out and tried again. Same result. I triple checked that I was entering the number correctly. The app has access to the camera to scan a bar code on the card but there is no bar code. Any ideas?

    CalePwas able to help me resolve this.  You have to put 73000 before your GoodSam member ID.  That will allow the pilot website to accept it.

    I am having the same problem. My Good Sam membership card does not have enough mumbers

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble. I was able to access your membership in our system and confirmed that it's still active. Can you DM me the Good Sam Membership number you are using so I can ensure it is the right one and help you link your accounts?

      I just downloaded the PFJ app via the Good Sam website link and have the same issue. The app wouldn’t accept my membership #
