Pilot app not accepting GS membership number

I installed the Pilot/Flying J app. It asked for my Good Sam membership number to link the rewards. I entered the membership number from my home-printed card with the response that it was not a valid...

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble. I was able to access your membership in our system and confirmed that it's still active. Can you DM me the Good Sam Membership number you are using so I can ensure it is the right one and help you link your accounts?

I just downloaded the PFJ app via the Good Sam website link and have the same issue. The app wouldn’t accept my membership #
