Gas stations won't be much different compared to the TT. It really doesn't make a lot of difference.
We used to have a diesel truck (got a heck of a deal or would have gone gas), tried to avoid truck stop pumps. The ground was always covered in diesel which gets on your shoes and then in the truck carpet and most have the big high speed nozzles you had to carefully hold the whole time and often would burp.
The bigger issue is at 36'+, your weights are probably pushing 14-16k and that's getting into diesel territory for pulling power not gas station manuvering. (remember to use the GVWR not empty weight)
