To me the more slides, the higher chance of having problems. Slides typically have less insulation than the main part of the coach also. JMHO

If you are going to look at the Forks RV or New Horizons, they will require an F450/4500 as a minimum and most likely a MDT like a Freight liner FL60 or FL70 to pull one. They are HEAVY.

Rumors tend to run rampant until you check out a product. $300K fifth wheels are out there and usually Continental (ForksRV) prices move toward $300K. But again these are fully customized units. Whatever you want can be put into one of these units.
The New Horizon 2015 show model just sold for $212K. Go to the New Horizons site and check out their inventory if you want a quality customized 5th wheel at a good price. To show you how customized they can get I am meeting with New Horizon folks at the Hershey RV show to price out a unit with a 7ft. ceiling height bedroom area.

Like has been said before, quality don't come cheap.

Heartland Big Country 3900FLP. 5 slides, front living room, patio on door side. No outside kitchen, but with side patio and sliding door, access to kitchen from patio.

Look at the Jayco Pinnacle 38FLSA. They changed a lot from 2014 to 2015 models. Storage is there now, along with tri fold sofas and theater seating. Just ordered one.

Front living room does not appeal to me as the ceiling is 3 feet closer to your head than the lower part of the trailer. That said since much time can be spent there depending on your life style it is going to tend to be less comfortable and noisier when running the AC than a rear living room. The further your AC unit is away from your head the less annoying it will be sort of like central air vs window AC at home.
As others have pointed out manufacturers aren't sticking with them for long. When you're in the bedroom most of your time is lying down and living room sitting up. Just makes more sense in my opinion to have the bedroom up top.
I've noticed visitors stop at the bathroom and don't go into the bedroom and bathroom noises and odors are further from your company with a rear living room.
Just my ideas.

New Horizons, Space Craft, Continental - All are great custom coach builders. None of which can be had anywhere near 100k - most of them nicely equipped are 300k+ - DRV, is the brand that is sort of in the middle of the pack between the Cardinal and the New Horizon or Space Craft.

With that list, New Horizons RV. They will build you -exactly- what you want.
Cost will be well north of $100,000.

When we first started looking for a larger trailer to replace our AirStream one of the things that interested us was the outside kitchen and 4-5 slides. We also were very concerned with resale value, and great construction. Arctic Fox, made by Northwood manufacturing - is a very over looked brand for most of us down south, it is more popular in the northern territory and Canada as the construction and the insulation is just incredible, very well made and thought out units, lots of great reviews, and good resale value. They also happen to have exactly what you are looking for in both 5th wheel and travel trailer. As a side note - I don't have any affiliation with the company in any aspect. But I sure researched that company and trailer brand to exhaustion. I can even give you a few names of dealers that will give you great prices if you are interested. In the end we decided on something a little nicer and went with the DRV - but hey who buys the cheapest trailer they can afford?

You can also call them and speak directly to the factory - they will do a order for you and place the front living room in most of the floor-plans, the out side kitchen setup can also be added in most cases as a option.
