how do you feel 800 is more than 158o since tkhere is no cents mark.

In wonderful Cali,it is worst than that.$783 for the 2nd yr.

All of you should be glad you don't live in SC espicially Darlington county. I do have a high end 5th wheel paid over 100 to transfer the tag from my old camper saving the first year's tax. My renewal just came up. It was over $1580 bucks

LOL Virginia has permanent trailer tags mine was around $100 one time purchase sales tax was 3% (just went up) but depending on what city/ county you live in you do pay a personal property tax annually....... don't know what this camper will be the last on was about $100 annually where we live.......... Same with the truck but do have annual tags just under $50 a year...........

A lot of retirees are moving to Virginia for some areas have real low Real estate & other taxes.

folks you gotta look at the whole tax structure for your resident state. Just looking at it peace meal gives no clues. :h

Here in Pennsylvania, I believe it is $24.00 per year. Lifetime is around $70.00
$700.00 plus is really high, glad I don't live there.

Ontario Canada, $36 one time for life time plates

$88/yr however your taxes are probably no where near what I pay a year in income & property tax in NY.

Just plan on enjoying the unit for a while... and watching the registration go down every year. :) Our 10 year old Cardinal cost us only $124 in the great state of AZ. :)
