This is off set by the typically large basement in the 5er. Instead of having to load camping stuff from the garage into the back of the truck. It is stored in the 5er basement making for quicker departure and frees up the storage space in your garage.
The only TT I have ever pulled was a two horse trailer. I pull a 32' 5er with an 01 2500 Ram and it tows great, never the "wind sway" from passing semis, or passing a semi, both the same direction and oncoming.
I took too much physics, and Vector Algebra, to even want to pull a TT. The 5er is naturally neutral to sway induction, the TT with the point of action being 3' to 4' behind the rear axle naturally induces sway, if it didn't there would be no need for Hensley or Pro-pride.
