I've owned both and each had their valid points. Now that my kids are grown and it's just the two of us, a fiver fits our style of camping\RV'ing more than the old TT did. Major disadvantage of a big, tall fiver is the low bridge nervousness especially traveling back roads. Major advantage is the huge living area. It is huge even when compared to large class A coaches. We love the room it offers. I doubt we'd ever go back to a TT.
