I would not say I was validating my want for a 5er. If I were go out and buy today there is a 5er and a bumper pull that I would be equally happy with. I am just trying to learn about something I have no experience with, so that I when I make that decision I make the best one for me and my family.
For instance, in 3 pages did anyone say you can pull a much bigger bumper pull then a 5er with the same vehicle? That's why many people opt for a more economical 1/2 ton vehicle and better everyday (back and forth to work) mileage and can then pull a bigger bumper pull then they can a 5er with that 1/2 ton. But of course, you won't hear that on a 5er forum. What other nuggets won't you hear?
