- rayjc33ExplorerI have a volt meter I will check that out, I feel really confident that everything was hooked up right. Do I need to change how the generator hooks up to run 2-6V batteries. It was set up to run regular 12v batteries
- BigDogF250ExplorerBuy a volt meter, you can get them for less than $10.
Check to make sure you have the correct voltage at the batteries and also at the generator. Almost all the 12V systems on the trailer will appear to work on 6V but your generators starter and some of the other electronics (fridge) are more sensitive.
I have also seen people forget which goes to which when rewiring, perhaps the feed to the starter isn't hooked up...
