- JIMNLINExplorer IIIIt would be a NUWA product.
- RVcrazyExplorerI would look at a Nu-wa Hitchhiker from Chanute, Kansas that has been refurbished. The benefit is that it was the factory location. They fix them up before resale, so you can avoid some of the difficulties of buying something older and buy with relative confidence. Alpenlite was a good brand. Northwood (Arctic Fox) also had some good units, but not as much a full-time rig as the Nu-wa.
- travelnutzExplorer IIMy pick hands down for 1990's model 5th wheel would be the Carriage 5th wheels or if you can find one that an owner would even sell, a Royals International for true quality, luxury, and beyond!
- GramaofAAAAExplorerWe bought a 2003 Holiday Rambler Alumascape a year ago and we love it! We heard the "older" Holiday Ramblers were made better... :)
- DennisG9ExplorerAutoMate if you can find one.
- mountainkowboyExplorerAlpenlite
- gwcampExplorerIve got a 1999 newmar country star special edition 35ft eleven inches and three slides, as clean as new one. no problems, if newmar still made them, I might by a new one. the paper work says new was $54352.00
- B_SjulestadExplorer IIHad a 2000 King of the Road and loved it. All the units you list are good units just be sure to look them over close, look for water damage, maybe have a rv tech check it out first before handing over any $$$. Good luck in your search.
- badbob1ExplorerI owned a couple of Alpenlites and dollar for dollar one of the best fivers I ever owned. Liked them better than the Excel I now have and it is a great unit. Take a look at them and you may find they fit your needs.
Good Luck
BadBob - rhagfoExplorer IIIWe bought a old 86 (I know a little older than you are looking) and did some repairs, other than being small (28' no slides) I really loved that lady!!!
