Friends had a King of The Road 1989 model 38 footer with one slide out. It held up well, they put a lot of miles on it.
We currently have a 1994 Alfa See-ya 37 foot with two slides. We bought it new and chose it because it had a lot of the options higher end models had. Plus it is very roomy and well laid out. Lots of storage both inside and outside.
No major problems just the kind of stuff you would expect. It still looks new inside and out. We use it about once per month along with a 3 month stay in it every summer.
