When I did a search I found an old post that said they thought the push/pull effect was caused by the helper spring loading and unloading over the bumps. My hitch has very little play and is mounted ahead of the axle. The trailer sits level but not the truck. If I add air bags I will have to lower the hitch. I don't want to spend the money and see very little change. I'm hoping to hear first hand from someone that has added the air bags with a similar configuration as mine. 11,000 lb. trailer with approximately 2,600 lb. pin weight.
