Advantages or Disadvantages of half bath

I camp with 3 females, it's a definite Pro!

In some cases, especially on toy haulers I've noticed, a 1/2 bath would come in handy if you needed to go because designers don't think about access to the different areas in a 5ver when slides are in, some block front bathroom access.

When the kids are capable of dumping their own tank it is a good idea. If you have to dump and maintain the additional tank, The additional 1/2 bath will just add to your workload with very little return.

I fulltime with kids and my wife wouldn't even look at an RV that didn't have at least a private entrance to the main bath from the master bedroom. The half bath works even better though as the kids only need the master bath to shower, and when everyone is trying to get ready at the same time it is a real time saver.

Once the kids move out, if we look for another RV, I probably wouldn't want to give up the space for an added half bath.

Though, I'll add an extra disadvantage is that most of the time- there's an extra sewer connection that you have to connect to and dump (either moving hoses or with a wye).

One of the main reasons I like our 1/2 bath is that it doubles our black tank capacity.

I would like the option of not having to climb the steps each time I needed it. Not getting any younger

we went with the 2 baths, told the wife if need be down the road we can always pull the toilet and sink for more space.

I only have one bath and sometimes after a good ole pot of momma's chili we wished we had two, other than that the space is more valuable to me.
