Speaking of ride quality, our Ram Dually really rides nice empty. Friends that ride with us that have ridden in other trucks always comment on how amazed they are with the ride of our Ram.

Don't think so! I have 4,500# pin weight and the truck sits level when hitched and without air bags.
I might agree with you on the Mega Cab.
Compared to the GM I don't know why but I can see compared to the Ford since the cab and platform is the same since 1999.
