Advice on truck size and other fifth wheel info new owner

My best friend ( also retired) just purchased a new 39' Montana. He has no previous rv experience.I believe he plans to buy a new truck and is looking for some input from experienced people like all ...

That 39'Montana is going to have a GVW of over 14k. A Dodge 3/4 is NOT a good choice at all. I have a 32' Montana and a Dodge 3/4 truck and I am just under all weight suggestions. My 32' has a GVW of 12,100# and is no longer made. If I was to trade up in the Montana line I would need a different truck. JMHO.
