Advice on truck size and other fifth wheel info new owner

My best friend ( also retired) just purchased a new 39' Montana. He has no previous rv experience.I believe he plans to buy a new truck and is looking for some input from experienced people like all ...

I have a 3500 SRW and tow 14K GVWR 5th wheel.
I am right at ratings.

What is the GVWR of that Montana? 12K or under will work for the 2500 otherwise at least a 3500 SRW or DRW. Just depends on the GVWR of trailer.

At least he purchased trailer first and can then match truck to it.
