That's what I noticed with my Timbrens. My truck doesn't squat any less with them than it did without them, or at least not a noticeable amount, but the loaded ride is more settled going down the highway. They have about 3/4" of clearance when unloaded so they don't change the ride and handling feel when I'm empty or lightly loaded.

Air bags will take any sag out and level up the truck with the load, rides better.

I don't have bags, my Ram 2500 came with Tow and Camper packages, still level and good ride towing 32' 12,360# GVWR 5er.

on my previous truck I ran hellwig airbags with an airlift wirelessONE compressor setup and I though it was great, air up to 30PSI when towing and 5PSI when not.

that's a long way from saying a blanket statement like airbags = not enough truck

I am glad I installed mine. I didn't go onboard, but I have a cordless air pump that does the job in minutes

IF...the F250 has the camper/heavy service package it has the same suspension as the F350 srw truck according to fleet ford specs.

I had about 8-9 one ton DTR trucks over several years in commercial service pulling heavy GN/5th wheel trailers. I had air bags on put on everyone. Any truck rear will settle with a load especially '90s/00s era drw trucks. Roll on the scales with saggy butz truck and most of the time DOT points you to the right hand lane for 'farther inspection' even though I'm under gross and axle load limits. With bags the back of the trucks sits level.

I've had airbags on my last two duallies and love the "adjustability" of them as I added a Viair 10007 onboard air system with the Firestone dual pneumatic gauge, with them plumbed independently. I can now change the air pressure in the bags as road conditions change. I also put in a air coupler on a ball valve under the right rear door so I can air up truck, trailer and bike tires on the road or in the campground. I have Firestone bags, but would not hesitate to use either AirLift or PacBrake as they do the same job.

I just installed Timbrens on my F250. Was looking at airbags but after researching all options, went with the Timbrens.
