Air bags on trailer.

I have a question that I have asked my local dealer and he had no answer, but said it was a good question. My question is why doesn't someone put air bag on trailer axles? Semi trailers have been running them for years. They put bags on fifth wheel hitches and pin boxes. I put a pair on my pickup. It seems like they put them everywhere except
where would do the most good. Your thoughts?

    They do - -Center-point

Had that on our 07.5 DRV, it was good but MORryde is in another Universe!

For proper function of the CenterPoint there are a few things to understand for PROPER operation!

I thought you had said that you had it on a prior RV.. And I DO AGREE .. HANDS DOWN the IS is untouchable in quality and ride

As mentioned the CP was on our 07.5 DRV, current DRV is a 16 with IS. The one prior 02 Avion had some sort of MORryde.

  • Our RV trailer don't have air brakes. So there is no supply of compressed air like there is on a semi trailer. And we know that the RV manufactures build cheap.
  • All four leaf springs cost $100 + or -, air bags cost 3 to 10 times that.
