I too use the 12VDC Portable air compressor. Mine is the MV50 tankless model (AMAZON) from back in my jeep days. Works great on my trailer and truck tires.
I usually sit it on the dropped tail gate of my truck and connect into the trailer batteries. The hose then will go around both trailer and truck tires from there.
I also use this for blow-out of the trailer water setup. Being tankless this doesn't come up to instant pressure which is ideal for hooking up to the trailer city water port with an adapter and then walking around the spigots to bleed off the water in the lines. Once all of the water had been blown out then I drain my fresh water tank and add some pink stuff to the trailer P-Traps. The beauty of this is it only take just a few minutes to winterize and I can return to normal the next morning by just refilling the fresh water tank. Great to have for camping off the power grid trips.![]()
