Air compressor

For a 12 volt once in a while solution, has anyone had any experiance with the Viair 88p

I purchased a small 120v compressor that will run off a small generator, and camp power. It has ~1 gallon tank, and will provide is a 100 psi compressor. It weighs less than 10 pounds and it cost <$50. I do not expect to use it everyday, but should be perfect while traveling or at campsite

Is there an adapter to have the Viair units run from 110V instead of having to connect to the truck's battery (or I suppose the trailer's battery)?

I understand why they can run from 12V but generally speaking, when I check my tires I am near an AC source and it would be a lot easier to plug into AC then DC.

Many posts on compressors. One of the better 12v units is the Viair 450P. When you compare compressors you need to compare cfm with pressure. The cheapos may have high pressure out but very low cfm. Or high cfm and very little pressure. check out the viair web site. I bought my Viair from Amazon.

Have 110V and 12V compressors, but -

When you get to the cost of a Viair 450P, a Power Tank CO2 system
is another option. No "working parts" to fail.

Depending on what you want to inflate - even the less expensive "Trigger System" may work well.

Lowes or Home Depot. The small low capacity one take awhile but they get the job done.

Yep I have one of those also, a little bit different tho.
Craftsman professional 3-HP w/a 4 gallon tank to 150PSI.
A great little compressor and it has served me well and still does,
it fills my truck tires to 80 PSI with no problem. But when I went to top off my trailer tires at 105 to 110 it wouldn't budge, nada, plus it's to heavy and bulky, and on the road you still need 110v. So I bought the wife the Viare and never been happier.
