Air compressor

Old compressor quit, am now looking for a small 120 volt portable compressor. Trailer tires take 110 PSI. Not looking for something with a tank.

Many posts on compressors. One of the better 12v units is the Viair 450P. When you compare compressors you need to compare cfm with pressure. The cheapos may have high pressure out but very low cfm. Or high cfm and very little pressure. check out the viair web site. I bought my Viair from Amazon.

Used my Viare 450P this weekend to top off my Goodyear G614's 110psi trailer tires. no tank , super quiet , and quick. Among the best toy's I bought for the wife this year. Also from amazon...
  • SDM,

I am not a connoisseur of air compressor... this one
works for me...cheaper when on sale... I had tried the
comparable Harbor Freight version...fail. I do like the
portability... you will have to upgrade the appendages.

My bigger compressor stays in the garage...even with wheels
was a pain getting in and out of the truck bed.

    Good luck in the hunt.

  • Bought a quality 12 volt compressor. Does a great job of inflating tires and reasonably fast to boot.
