A/C Unit hold down bolts might need SNUGGING up.....have to remove ceiling grill assembly then tighten the 4 bolts ....they hold the unit on the roof and compress the roof gasket to seal the opening A/C sits in.
SNUG means just tighten a 'little bit' after finger tightening
IF tightened too much the drip pan drain holes can be blocked cause gasket is crushed and pan is sitting on roof (should be roughly a 'finger gap' between bottom of A/C pan and roof
To replace a roof gasket the A/C Unit 120VAC and 12VDC Power has to be disconnected, the hold down bolts removed and the WHOLE A/C Unit lifted up out of roof opening....moved out of the way---old gasket removed/new gasket installed/Unit lifted up and set back down into roof opening---hold down bolts tightened compressing gasket by 1/2" and 120VAC/12VDC Power reconnected
