Air Conditioner Pre wired or not

I have a 2000 Thor Fifth Avenue 34ft fifth wheel and I would like to know if my overhead vent in the bedroom is pre-wired for AC. I know it was sold as an option for a second AC on these units. I removed the trim around the vent in the bedroom and cannot find any wiring there. There is simply the wood framing in the opening for the air vent. Does anyone have any info on this unit? I don't know where I could get the manufacturers specs on it. I checked the circuit breaker panel and there is only one circuit for the AC and one for the Washer Dryer combo but no secondary AC breaker.

Any suggestions, ideas?

Thanks

If it had been wired for the 2nd AC you would have a breaker for it. I think you are out of luck on that one.

This is not normally correct ! They don't normally supply extra breakers to no where's .jmho Jb
  • It only takes the removal of four tiny screws to look and see.

  • our unit(not the same as yours) is prewired for bedroom a/c. Next to the ceiling vent is a covered receptacle. The wires are behind it.
