I agree with Garry & Gayle. I have the 25K air safe hitch also on a 2006 Carriage with a little over 3100lbs pin weight. You don't know your 5th wheel is behind you. This is my first 5th wheel and hitch. I bought them in august 2006. I asked a friend who had just bought this hitch in Jan 2006. He had a regular old Reese hitch before this one.He pulls his center console boat behind his 5h wheel. He said he forgot his soap bottle on the kitchen counter when he left the lake. When he got home (2 hour drive) , the soap bottle was still on the kitchen counter. I said that is all I needed to hear. His other words were. I am not saying it is worth the money . But I like the ride.
