Airbag assist rear suspension??

I’m gonna be getting our Fifth wheel, and I wanted to add an airbag suspension to my 2007 Dodge ram 2500 Cummins. Are there any kiits after market that you guys would recommend. I’m not looking to go cheap on this. I’m not overloaded I just need to raise the rear end up about an 1.5 to 2 inches. I don’t want to add an additional early spring because the every day drive would be like riding in a dump truck. If anyone has any recommendations please Provide them. Thank you so much and God bless. David
  • Does your truck set "LEVEL" or slightly rear high when loaded??? If so leave it alone, that's how it's supposed to be when loaded. Add Bilstein shocks and carry on.

If rear is lower than level look into PacBrake bags.
  • If you go with Air Lift, get the wireless system... you cab adjust the ride with a wireless remote while driving if need be... .

Is you truck leveled? I never found a need for bags on our 2001 Ram 2500 when carrying/towing our 12,500# 5er with a 2,700# pin.
  • Ya I have firestone also. I put maybe 50lbs in towing just enough to raise truck back to where it was when iam not hooked up.
  • I put Firestone’s on our prior truck, never liked the harsh ride when empty and lowered the psi to the recommended minimum.

The truck we have now is outfitted with a Timbrens. Empty I can tell no difference in ride and they keep it level when the fifth wheel is connected. It might be worth checking out
  • My 06 Dodge has Firestone bags with the manual inflate. Pretty easy to install.
