ALPENLITE 29RK 2 SLIDES

I own a 2003 Alpenlite Valhalla 29 rk. It has two slides. The gross vehicle weight rating is 14,000 lbs. In my unit, I put in the rear ladder and the front extended pin box making the length of the trailer approximately 31'4". The book has it as 30'10'.

The cargo carrying capacity is 2,931 lbs ( I am rated at 2761 lbs, because I ordered more extras). It fits in 86 cubic feet of space.

Do I like it? Yes. Is there problems? Yes.

Yes. My brother owns one. Great unit. You want to be looking for the Valhalla model. I believe they started making them around 2001. Even though they're considered a shorter fifth wheel (actual length is more like 31'), they're pretty heavy - well over 9K dry. So, be sure you have the truck to pull it.

You probably have to get into 2000 plus for that, ours has 1.

The 29s of the mid to late 90s came with only one slide. I believe the first bedroom slide was on the 32.
