Here is a pic of the lamp shades before

In the top picture the left shows the shade as it came from Alpenlite. The wire frames in the middle were built into the shade which was lined with a hard plastic liner, to take the heat of the bulbs, with the cloth outer cover glued onto the plastic. I made the 3 small rods to be welded to the 2 wire frames to end up with the frame on the right. Ruthie is recovering them with material, using LED bulbs eliminates the need for the plastic insert to protect the cloth from the heat.
