OH!!!
Some updates on the direction of repairs. After ALOT of research on the subjects;
1. The roof that needs to be replaced will be overlaid. The rotted wood edge moldings will be replaced and a complete luan skin will be put over the existing EPDM and overlaid with a new membrane. Since there isn't a problem with rot on the roof itself, this will be an easier way and the roof will end up being stronger and have more "R" factor.
2. We have decided to do the living/kitchen area in a 1 piece high quality vinyl floor, including the slide. There is a glue that we can "float" the floor with, then overlay it with 5mm luan to be used as the underlayment for the vinyl floor.
