I am going to tell ya from Experience having a 2001 f350 V10 while a great Motor and loved it it Barely had enough power to tow my old 2004 34ft Montana and when I bought a 2012 39 foot Monty and tried to tow it up it's first Mountain pass(only 2600 ft) It was SCREAMING for mercy at 5K rpm and going 40MPH and sounded like it was going to Blow up all while only getting about 8 MPG the next week I went out and bought a Diesel Dually and never looked back now I have a 2015 Montana that is even heavier and the same weight as the Alpine 3500RL you are looking at and Your 2004 f350 SRW with a V10 is Under powered and will be Over weight NOT the right tool for the Job Trust me....Or Not and get passed up by old Yugos up the hills:B and by the way my Buddy has a 2014 Alpine and Loves it and has been pretty reliable and if ya did not know Montana and Alpine are built in the same Keystone Factory in Goshen Indiana and the difference between the two is not that much same workers, pretty much same construction and options and standard equipment, price etc..
