Aluminium 5er hitch?
No I don't work for them, just stumbled across this on YouTube. Terrible "acting" but an interesting hitch. Only weighs 30#. VIDEO

Aluminum is strong but not as tough as Steel. Meaning it would not handle impacts like the king pin slamming into the hitch very well. Not a well thought out design and obviously aimed at people who are at their carry capacity on the truck and want to save a few pounds.
So why would the kingpin slam into the hitch? Looks like you would lower it down onto the ball. Also have you watched any of the video of people comparing slamming things into the new aluminum Ford truck beds compared to steel beds? The aluminum takes the abuse better.
