Aluminium 5er hitch?
No I don't work for them, just stumbled across this on YouTube. Terrible "acting" but an interesting hitch. Only weighs 30#. VIDEO

The landing gear on a Boeing airliner is aluminum, and so is a Navy Fighter. You ever watched a video of one of those landing on a carrier? I'd say aluminum is plenty strong. There is different alloys of aluminum. These hitches aren't made from can stock.
