Aluminium 5er hitch?
No I don't work for them, just stumbled across this on YouTube. Terrible "acting" but an interesting hitch. Only weighs 30#. VIDEO

I think you hit the nail right on the head. Every single negative comment I've read about this hitch comes from someone who DOESN'T own it or HASN'T tried it.
I personally own this hitch as well and there's nothing but love from me. The other reviews that I've read from actual owners are solid as well.
I'm curious to see the cost differences between the aluminum and the steel versions, if any.
OP, thanks for posting this! I wasn't aware that there was an aluminum version in the works!
Looks like they are $629 which is $110 more than the steel.
There is another difference and the aluminum only adjusts to 16.5 in hi as the steel goes to 19
