You run the pressure for the weight rating... You do not need to run max most of the time.
Like car tires my truck states 50 psi with a weight rating of 2300 lbs. Thats 4600 lbs I can haul at max inflation...
LOL my axle rating is only 2700 lbs.. So I got the inflation chart for the tire and run them at 35 psi.
At 35 psi the tires are rated at 1400 lbs which is 2800 lbs.. Just above the axle ratings...
Mind you thats for two tires. If you have dual axle trailer the pressures may even be lower.
