I would not suggest running any tire at less than that recommended on the sidewall. It will run hotter and heat is an enemy of tires. Secondly, Carlisle does not have a good reputation for reliability and if you are looking at their latest ST version it has only been on the market for a year or so and does not have a long enough track record yet.
