Here's an interesting article. It talks to the amount of money, on a per car basis, that is allocated for warranty costs by the largest car manufacturers.

If you don't want to read it all (and I didn't), then scroll down and look at the chart at the end (figure 7) and then read the very last paragraph.

I would think that vehicles with high quality would have low warranty cost.
