Complaining

I think a lot of the posters here have their heart set on doing it one way and when they don't get confirmation, it upsets them.

You might log how many responses give evidence that the person responding hasn't read or understand the post they are responding to. And you might note how often answers on page 2-3-4 are now completely off topic. God bless anyone taking time to be helpful. I'm not sure if it's trolling or responses irrelevant to the topic that irritate me more.

Not to be outdone by the people who respond to a legitimate post in a condescending tone. Rude is rude regardless.

No more irritating than the people who don't bother to read either the OP or the replies and then post some irrelevant drivel or argumentative reply and then get really offended when someone points it out.

Criticizing anything is fraught with danger on here. It's too easy to kill the messenger.

I see the same questions, and of course the same answers, over and over again.

But from time to time I also learn something new.

That said: Some folks do something very stupid and the answer translates basically to "Throw Money At It, Lots OF Money" (Seek professional help). They do not want to do that, They were hoping to fix the problem for say 10 bucks, when they find it's going to be more like 10 C-notes (or in my case 10 Grand).

Oh well.. I'm not complaining, but .. Well I may shave several thousand off that 10 grand due to folks on assorted forums.

The Block function is a great device.

Now, I only see my questions and my answers to my questions. Works for me.:B

Well as long as we're on the topic of post replies, can anyone answer me this, Why do people "repost" in their reply the post they are answering, some times as many as 4-5 repost within their answers? Seems that this is just a waste of space on the thread.

I think the most irritating aspect of this forum is when someone is seeking advice and posters with no personal experience on the subject/topic jump in to give their two cents worth of advice on something they know nothing about.

Nope you are not a grump.

And those folks who are rude, mostly don't have a clue that they are rude and surly don't realize they are arrogant by judging responses given.

Different folks have different thought processes, but the world DOES keep turning, regardless.
