Why not ?? ...spud is the OP and was asking about a short bed Ram truck and the Andersen hitch.... so I mentioned them as both products....just trying to help spud find his answers by keeping the thread on topic.

Sorry I misunderstood what you meant . I guess you didn’t see or read my replies , I have both products short bed Ram and Andersen hitch.

Here’s the deal he’s concerned with clearance , he should be . He’s thinking about a short bed Ram , the shortest of the three , and a fixed hitch . Biggest things he needs to be aware of using the Andersen is pin box location on the fifth wheel , that will determine the direction of the adapter , and the front cap of the fifth wheel ,how rounded it is .
