Andersen failure
From the looks of it, can't believe the fifth wheel didn't make contact with the bed of the truck. Pretty lucky it didn't do any damage.
I have the steel bedrail mount Andersen. I would never want the gooseneck Andersen or the B&W, I want to be connected at all four corners.
I was holding out for what I was told by Andersen thru emails that they were coming out with a puck system that would fit all three OEM fifth wheel preps. After several months past when they said they would be on the market, I went ahead ,and got the rail mount steel version of the Andersen. I already had the picture frame adapter that I had my conventional hitch connected to, so I was good to go.
The Andersen steel version is a great hitch, and after having a conventional fifth wheel hitch, its a pleasure to have the Andersen, at least the steel bedrail style :)
