- 2oldmanExplorer II16". The company thought it might be my tires have a larger radius, but that doesn't seem correct.

Here's a pic of the recent break. I often use just one when I don't have to lift very much. It's hard to understand how it could break there with the tire not even all the way on it.. I took the pic without moving anything. It's very possible I was all the way on it, then pulled forward. I think they need some re-bar in this thing.
Heard this loud 'bang' when setting up. Thought I'd blown a leaf spring.
'Alicia' at the company is very responsive to emails.. within minutes.. but now that I've broken 3, maybe I'll go back to the blocks.
What size are your tires? - SteveBExplorer

I would venture a guess that the radius of the leveler is smaller than the tire which caused the stress crack. - 2oldmanExplorer IIHere's a pic of the recent break. Do the holes go all the way through? If so, they might be better off molding the levelers with blind holes from either side so that you have solid plastic in the center. - kohaiExplorer

Update: I recently broke another - one that was not trimmed. Scary.. sitting in the rig and I hear a loud 'bang'!
Unless you're not supposed to use just one on a tandem axle, I think the company needs to re-engineer this product.
Are you saying you only have 1 and you have 2 axles? Don't you need 1 for each tire on the side you are raising? - 2oldmanExplorer IIUpdate: I recently broke another - one that was not trimmed. Scary.. sitting in the rig and I hear a loud 'bang'!

I hope they can beef them up a bit. Hopefully I'm not an isolated case. - golf_bearsExplorerGot my set and have used them 4 times. No problems and love the way they level. Hope I don't crack mine, but if I do, it's nice to know that Customer Service will take care of you.
Bet they add a little more mass to their design soon so they don't end up having to replace a bunch of these. - 2oldmanExplorer IIUpdate: I'm going to give these levelers a "D-". I've just broken another one, and my 2 axle rig is only 13k.
